Partner Visas

For people in a fiance, defacto, live-in or married relationship with an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident, inside or outside Australia seeking to live in Australia with their partner.

Visitor Visas

For anyone wanting to visit Australia for tourism, business or family reasons for periods of 3-12 months.

Visitor visas for 3-5 years, with unlimited travel, are available for parents of citizens and permanent residents. Sponsorship requirements apply.

Resident Return

Permanent residents lose their travel rights after 5 years and must apply for a resident return visa if they want to re-enter Australia. This visa renews the travel rights for up to 5 years, depending on the length of time the applicant has spent in Australia.
